I got the opportunity to go see the Cure for my birthday, and everything about it was fantastic! We got to sit on the edge of the nosebleeds overhang, but eventually moved to the very back wall to dance since we wouldn't be bothering anyone up there and the view wasn't all that different (possibly even better since we could stand up!) They spaced out their more popular songs really well, and even played some songs they hadn't performed since the 80s, as well as new music😁The Twilight Sad was also really really good, so if you haven't heard of them definitely check out their music! They lean a bit more towards darkwave, so it was nice to contrast that with The Cure's more chill, atmospheric vibe from the first half of the show, which evolved to a more upbeat collection of their music. If you're on the fence about going, it's definitely worth it to see both bands, especially since the tickets are so affordable. What was/were the song/s that got you into the whole culture and made you explore it deeper and dive in it

I’ve been into the subculture for years now and have been listening to the music and attending shows. Now I’m going to a goth club for the first time in LA next week. I’ve never been in any type of night club. I’m going with my brother who isn’t in the goth scene but is always down for an adventure so I won’t be alone. I’m excited to finally get to experience the goth club scene(Im 23). Any advice for someone new to the club scene? Anything I should know about beforehand?
